Feeling Stuck? Misaligned?

Do your heart and your gut say one thing while your work expresses something else?

Do you ever wonder if you're the only one feeling this way?

You’re not alone.

Join our online community and gain access to practical tools and strategies designed to help you build person-centered lives, inclusive communities, and purpose-driven organizations.

We’re here to support you in taking the next important steps toward a future filled with clarity, confidence, and momentum. Along the way, you’ll rediscover who you are—and unlock the highest version of yourself.

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • You’re working hard to deliver the best support possible, but you feel stuck in systems that aren’t evolving.
  • You’re dedicated to doing right by the people you serve—but you’re not sure what the first step is, or what comes next.
  • You know your agency wasn’t built on best practices, but you’re ready to shift things. You want to align your work with your values.
  • You’re ready for change because now you know better—and you want to do better.

We work with practitioners and providers just like you—committed, compassionate, and eager to make a meaningful difference. People who are striving to reconnect with their purpose and serve with integrity.

Many of the organizations we support were once rooted in visionary principles. But now, the founders are retired or gone, and what remains lacks the clarity, energy, and alignment it once had. You care deeply—but you’re uncertain about the path forward.

Let’s Name What You're Feeling:

Do you feel like there’s more you could be doing to help—
but you don’t know where to start?

Do you feel stuck inside the very systems that were supposed to help—
Like they’re holding you and others back?

Do you worry that someone you support—or even a loved one—
might fall through the cracks of broken systems?

You Are Not Alone

We’re here to partner with you—to illuminate a path that’s more vivid, actionable, and full of purpose.

We’re not here to offer quick fixes or surface-level strategies. We’re offering a new lens, a new way to see the big picture. That journey begins with deep listening and careful observation. From there, transformation takes root.

With decades of combined experience, we’ve worked both inside and outside the system, including inside our own homes, supporting individuals navigating the same challenges. Our guidance comes from lived experience and is rooted in awareness-based compassionate action.

We’ve developed tools, frameworks, and practices to help you move forward. This path doesn’t just change systems—it changes lives.

The Liberty Plan:
Building Bridges to a More Expansive Future

Stories of Liberty Plan Transformation

Discovering the Heart of an Artist

We supported a young man who felt held back by a difficult transition. He needed inspiration. We discovered he was an artist at heart.

We invited him to lead the design of our graphics. This helped him focus, build confidence, and take ownership of his own plan.

Helping a Parent Create a Family-Centered Future

One mother faced a year filled with complex decisions affecting her entire family.

Our standard Liberty Plan format didn’t fit her needs that day. So, we pivoted. We co-created a new version of the plan—one that honored her mood and gave space to think clearly.

Transforming a Whole State

When Beth and Kirk visited Kentucky in 2024, they helped launch the first Liberty Plan Cohort with Annette. That spark grew. Annette formally joined the team, and the idea for the Alliance of Change was launched. In Spring of 2025, Cohort 2 was introduced to the Liberty Plan.

Participants came from across the state: employment specialists, case managers, educators, peer mentors, and more. Collaboration has begun, and excitement is growing as we prepare for our return in August. Momentum is building. Change is happening.

Person-Centered Culture Introducing The Liberty Plan

This AoC workshop offers a deep, immersive exploration for individuals, practitioners, and organizations who are seeking clarity and a path forward.

You’ll learn to identify gifts, challenge outdated assumptions, listen deeply, co-create meaningful goals, and build actionable steps toward a more person-centered future.

Meet the Facilitators

We’ve spent decades seeking what it truly means to create a person-centered culture.

Through this journey, we’ve built spaces where every individual—those supported, their families, and their circles of support—feel valued, seen, and heard.

We’ve facilitated hundreds of Liberty Plans and have been actively refining the process since its inception in 2012.

Together, we’ve shaped organizations that don’t just say they’re person-centered—they live it.

Beth Gallagher

Beth is the founder and CEO of Life Works in San Diego, CA. She’s worked in the disability field since 1986, creating customized, person-centered support strategies for people often overlooked by traditional systems.

She co-authored Intentional Teaming: Shifting Organizational Culture and co-created The Liberty Plan, a facilitation tool for individuals, families, and teams.

Beth’s work centers on curiosity, collaboration, and honoring the unique gifts of each person. Her philosophy: “We want to help people create fully realized lives—one person at a time, in ways that make sense for them.”

Kirk Hinkleman

Kirk is a speaker, author, and mindfulness meditation teacher committed to dismantling outdated structures and helping people find purpose through awareness-based action.

With experience across many sectors since 1998, he’s become a champion for real community inclusion—viewing people not as clients, but as valued members of the community with gifts to share.

Kirk is co-author of Intentional Teaming: Shifting Organizational Culture, and co-creator of The Liberty Plan. His mission is simple and profound: “Authentic teaching. Aligned vision. Inner work as the path to outer change.”

Annette Jett, MBA

Annette is the co-founder of Build Inclusion, a Kentucky-based nonprofit focused on community access and opportunity. She’s a curriculum designer, community inclusion activist, and parent advocate who brings lived and professional experience to every conversation.

Her work has influenced statewide systems, including authoring legislation that unanimously passed in 2025 to improve accountability and oversight in vocational rehabilitation.

She’s a bridge between policy and practice, always asking the hard questions and pursuing what’s possible. “The answer is always ‘no’ unless you ask,” Annette says—and so she asks.
